Father Phillip Wallbridge

Father Phillip Wallbridge was a former Jesuit Priest who taught/worked at the following schools:

• Xavier College in Melbourne, Victoria; and

• St Aloysius College in Milsons Point, NSW.

Online records indicate that Father Wallbridge was a teacher, sporting coach and later Principal at Xavier College. He was later transferred to St Aloysius College where his role was in pastoral care. The Age/Brisbane Times reported that Wallbridge left the Church and Xavier College (where he went back to after St Aloysius) in 1993, and was the subject of a police investigation before his death. It has also been reported that no criminal charges were laid and that his family denied the allegations.
