Father Albert Davis
Online records show that Father Albert Davis was born around 1927 and died in 2007. According to Broken Rites, Father Davis is known to have taught or served at the following locations:
Blackfriars Priory School - Prospect, South Australia (late 50’s to 70s);
Mannix College - residential college at Monash University (mid-1970s);
Newcastle, NSW - Parish Priest;
Blackfriars parish - Watson, Canberra (1975 to 1978)
Chaplain to the Australian National University (1983 to 1986); and
Wahroonga - Sydney, NSW (80s and 90s).
In 2006, Father Davis was charged by South Australia Police on 17 incidents of indecent assault involving seven boys between 1956 to 1960 whilst he was a teacher at Blackfriars Priory School. Father Davis, however, died in March 2007 at the age of 80 before he could face the allegations in court.
