Father John Aitchison

Father John Philip Aitchison (68 years old) was a former Anglican priest in the Anglican Diocese of Canberra. Father Aitchison has had allegations of sexually abusing children from as early as the 1970s until 1991, when he was charged for sexual crimes against children. 

He has reportedly been convicted of 13 charges involving sexual abuse of one particular survivor of child sexual abuse, who was 13 years old.  It has also been reported that there had been eight other victims who have come forward in relation to the sexual abuse which includes children. 

He was the parish priest at All Saints Anglican Church, at Ainslie, North Canberra.
